About the Facilitator

Bijou began exploring Yoga in 2014, far from civilisation in the Amazon jungle, a calling that led him into deeper study of this ancient art. He completed a 300-hour Teacher Training Course in 2016, following his initial 300-hour certification at Yoga Vidya Gurukul, Nasik, in 2015, and also earned a Thai Massage Certificate the same year. With over 10 years of teaching experience, along with initiations in Buddhist Meditation, he integrates mindfulness seamlessly into his yoga practice. His work with individuals recovering from trauma and substance abuse has strongly shaped his meditative and therapeutic teaching approach. In parallel, Bijou brings over 20 years of experience as a musician, producer, and DJ, having performed at festivals and events across the globe.
